Devona J. Segrest

Since graduating from law school in 1999, Devona has represented individuals and businesses in a variety of civil litigation matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts. For several years her practice has been primarily in insurance defense with a focus on workers’ compensation matters. She has also represented clients in personal injury actions, premises liability actions, and disputes involving insurance contracts. She is experienced in handling insurance defense matters from the beginning of the litigation process through depositions, mediation and trial. Since joining Ely & Isenberg, Devona’s practice has also included insurance coverage analysis and litigation, in addition to other insurance defense matters.

Devona is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, and the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization.
